All Matches to Go Ahead Posted: Friday, July 30, 2010
What did Jullia Gillard say?  Game On!

Hylton Moore Oval and Adelaide Street Oval are closed by councils until 3:00pm today however following some protracted discussion with the league, at this stage they are open for play tomorrow's, subject to ground inspections held by the clubs this afternoon.

The grounds are still very wet due to poor drainage and will need to be deemed safe before clubs sign off on the ground before a final decision can be made.

2010 is the worst season the competition has suffered with rain with grounds being taken out of the equation one after another an issue which has become a frustrating situation for League and club official as well as the players.

Tomorrow, Killarney Vale host Lake Macquarie in a must win match at Adelaide Street Oval.

Warners Bay play Wyong Lakes at Seaman Oval and Newcastle City travel to Hylton Moore Oval to play Terrigal Avoca.
